Tragedy struck in East Delhi’s Chander Vihar area under Madhu Vihar police station limits as the wall of a six-storey under-construction building collapsed during Friday (11/04/2025) evening's fierce dust storm. Chilling CCTV footage shows an elderly man being crushed to death instantly as the wall collapses while he was walking past. Moments later, as bystanders rushed in to help, the wall gave way again, injuring a woman and others present at the scene.
The incident, which claimed one life and left three others injured, has sparked outrage over construction safety and negligence. The injured were rushed to hospital by locals.
