00:04Premier League with a 3-0 win over the already relegated hosts. Sounds comfortable,

00:10in the end it was comfortable, but for three quarters of the game it was pretty

00:15uncomfortable for Unai Emery's team. They were frustrated against a dogged and resilient

00:19Southampton side. Of course they were the earliest teams ever relegated in the

00:23Premier League season and trying to avoid being the worst team in Premier

00:27League history. They've only got 10 points. They looked like they might get another one

00:30today. They were a frustrating Villa but they couldn't find a way through. In 70

00:34minutes, Marco Asensio, the man who could not put a foot wrong since joining Villa at

00:40the end of January, had a penalty saved by Aaron Ramsdale and at that moment you

00:45feared that Villa might be in for a very frustrating day. But Ollie Watkins who

00:49had won that penalty two minutes after coming on, three minutes later scored a

00:53sublime goal to put Villa ahead. Uri Tielemans ball over the top and

00:57Watkins stretching to turn the ball over Ramsdale in off the bar. It was his 73rd

01:03Premier League goal for Villa. Just one behind Gabiak Bonlahor now in the

01:07all-time charts and he probably hasn't scored a finer goal for Villa in terms of

01:11the finish and in terms of the timing as well it was very important. You know it

01:15completely transformed the game. From there Villa saw it out at a canter.

01:41Forest and it feels like Forest are now being dragged back into this battle for

01:46the top five positions. Villa have won four games in a row in the Premier League for the

01:53first time in two years and they have serious momentum. Today another

01:57demonstration of their strength and depth. All three players who scored come off the

02:00bench. Watkins the most notable. This was the fourth game in five that he'd been a

02:05substitute but he couldn't give any finer reminder of his of his quality and with

02:11the goal he scored to put Villa on track to another big win.
