Le Titanic III, un gigantesque navire de croisière, fait son voyage inaugural. Bien qu'étant extérieurement une réplique fidèle de son tristement célèbre homonyme, le bateau est doté d'outils de navigation ultra-performants qui garantissent sa sécurité. Cependant, lorsque le Titanic III arrive sur le site du naufrage de 1912, des événements inquiétants commencent à se produire à bord. Alors que le capitaine du navire et son équipage enquêtent sur ces incidents, il devient évident que des forces obscures venues des profondeurs de l'océan menacent le bateau et ses passagers...
