00:03How are you feeling?

00:05You know, listen, it's the second go-around

00:08and you learn so much from the first time

00:11that you kind of know how the process works

00:13and you know that hopefully one day you're the villain

00:17and one day, next day, you're the hero, you know?

00:19What era of Jesse are we going to see?

00:22You know, I hope people just respond to the work

00:25that I've been doing from, you know, myself and my parenting

00:28and, you know, the work that I've been doing

00:31with my girlfriend and, you know,

00:34it's just kind of a personal growth journey for me

00:37and I hope that comes across to, you know, the audience.

00:40In the trailer, you know, there were some serious allegations

00:43from Michelle about your drinking and abuse.

00:47What was your response to that?

00:49You know, Michelle has her own experience

00:52and I have my own experience and I would never invalidate her.

00:55I think people are extremely intelligent

01:00where they know that trying to create a one-sided narrative,

01:05you know, you can see right through that

01:07and words don't mean as much as what, you know,

01:10when you see what the camera shows,

01:15like that's what you should be hearing.

01:17You know, what you see is what you should hear

01:18because the words don't mean anything

01:20and it's only a one-sided narrative.

01:22So, you know, but she has her experience and that's how she feels

01:25and, you know, I can't invalidate that.

01:29Speaking of harsh words, I mean, you did call her a hooker in the trailer.

01:33Any regrets about saying that?

01:35What are we going to see?

01:36Yeah, you know, I think my biggest problem is,

01:39and I got it tattooed on my arm,

01:40Emotion Cloud's reason and, you know,

01:43the strongest person, regardless of the work they're doing,

01:48in a moment of weakness can be triggered.

01:50And, you know, there are certain words like,

01:53you can say I drink too much.

01:54You can say, oh, he's an alcoholic.

01:56But when you call somebody a drunk,

01:58that implies something a lot deeper, the messiness of it.

02:02And it was a triggering thing for me

02:04because I'm trying to raise a little girl

02:06and her mother is calling her father a drunk.

02:09And what is she going to end up trying, you know,

02:13she's going to end up with a drunk, right?

02:15And that was very triggering for me.

02:16And I think it was unfair of Michelle,

02:18but it was certainly unfair of me to use that word.

02:22And I've apologized for it.

02:24And, you know, I had to realize that I also have a daughter.

02:30And, you know, I'm learning how to talk to

02:33and treat women differently.

02:34And, you know, it was just a weak moment for me.

02:37How is co-parenting going between you two now?

02:42You know, whether Michelle and I are in a good place,

02:46it doesn't matter because we're doing our best with Isabella.

02:50And she's super happy.

02:51And, like, Michelle and I today were at orientation for kindergarten

02:55together, you know, standing side by side.

02:58And we've, you know, come to the agreement

03:02that we're putting her in a very safe position.

03:05We can pretty much make the decision

03:07of what we are going to do with her.

03:09And, you know, I take her down to Newport quite a bit.

03:12And she's recently moved in with Erin.

03:15And, you know, so we are doing our best for her

03:18while we make a mess out of what's going on between the two of us.

03:22Oh, God.

03:23Well, I can't wait to see that.

03:25How is it going filming with Michelle's new boyfriend, Erin?

03:28You know, Erin and I started off with a pretty good relationship.

03:32We had a fourth birthday party for Isabella last minute at my house.

03:38And I decided if I was going to invite Michelle,

03:41I might as well invite Erin as well.

03:43And it was a chance for the four of us all to meet.

03:46And, you know, he went in.

03:47And to be honest, it's a hard environment to walk into

03:50with all the guys and a bunch of our other guy friends.

03:53And, you know, I give him a lot of credit for doing that.

03:55And then as the season unfolds,

03:57you'll see more and more time that we spend filming together,

04:00as well as a very emotional conversation that we had in Hawaii,

04:04just the two of us,

04:05where we discussed not only the timeline of their relationship,

04:10and there's a lot of questions that you'll see unfold

04:13and a lot of answers that you'll get.

04:15But I wanted to know the physical and emotional, you know,

04:20timeline of their relationship,

04:21as well as creating boundaries as a father

04:23of what I expected from him being with my daughter.

04:27And you'll see it all kind of play out.
