01:54Well, my songs are reflections of my own life.

01:58They're people that I know.

01:59Sometimes I'll write a song that are different parts of a relationship,

02:03different people that I've known and put together in one song.

02:06But the really good songs are those that are very specific to someone,

02:10like someone I've loved or someone I've missed.

02:13Do things in your life, when they happen,

02:15do they really help you in writing your songs?

02:18Oh, yes.

02:19That's all I've got.

02:20I mean, that's my total ammunition is what I've experienced.

02:24I don't have anything else.

02:25You know, so I really look and see what it is that excites me or moves me

02:29or really, you know, urges me to write something.

02:32Something's got to really be an urge to write something.
