The Courier's Greg Gliddon previews round two of the 2025 BFNL season.
Transcript
00:00We're here for the round two preview of the Ballarat Football Netball League and
00:03to be honest there's probably four games that could easily be match of the round
00:07status this weekend. Right behind me is Mars Stadium where we'll see North
00:11Ballarat play their first home game of the season. They're up against
00:14East Point. East Point were impressive last week in the victory over Sebastopol
00:17but it should be a pretty good game. There's also a huge game down
00:21at Darley with Darley up against Sunbury. Sunbury of course had the round one bye
00:25last week so we'll see how the Lions progress this season.
00:29We've also got Redan versus Bacchus Marsh at Redan. Redan another team that had the
00:34round one bye. Bacchus Marsh super impressive against Lake Wendere last week
00:38so it should be a terrific game and probably the real match of the round is
00:42the game between Ballarat versus Sebastopol down at Marty Bush Reserve. Both teams
00:46were super impressive in their first game and it could be a really even match.
00:50Ballarat will have no fears about going there having knocked off Sunbury in the
00:53final last season. The other game is right here at C.E. Brown Reserve where the
00:57Lakers will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing first game. They
01:00co-op against Premier's Melton. Whatever you do this weekend enjoy the
01:03sunshine. It's going to be 26 degrees. Enjoy the football.
