Kidd says fans have a right to protest, but the Doncic trade to the Lakers was part of the 'business' of sport
Transcript
00:00This is a business.
00:02It happens, right?
00:04Trades happen. This won't be the last trade.
00:07Some are comparing it to Babe Ruth, which is kind of cool.
00:10Fans are going to be fans. They have a right to boo.
00:13They have a right to cheer.
00:15Hope is still in that locker room.
00:18AD is not a bad player.
00:22I think he's top 75, if I recall.
00:25There's one at every level.
00:27There's different opinions of how things were handled.
00:32That's always going to be a conversation.
00:35But when you see those guys in that uniform with the Mavericks,
00:39those guys play hard, and they play together,
00:42and they're trying to find a way to win.
00:44And so there's hope. There's still hope.
00:46And there will be hope 10 years from now
00:49because the league will continue to go.
00:51That train doesn't stop for anybody.
00:54And so just understanding that the fans will come to grips with this,
01:01that we're going to have a chance to win a championship here hopefully soon.
01:06And we believe in Nico and Patrick,
01:08that they're going to do the right thing to put those pieces,
01:11you know, in that locker room to give us that chance.
01:14Kki?
01:15Who would you ever have to leave?
01:16What is that decision-making?
01:17Looking forward you to having to make a choice in the interim session?
01:18I recommend talking to you there.
01:20I reread that idea.
01:21And I'm sorry.
01:22But now we also have an Mormonírن for that calendar.
01:24I've map the land that you have six thousand years,
01:25all right within the day before.
01:27I'm not sure.
01:28So the rest of this thing is going to be a good week.
01:30What is this example can do in that?
01:31Anybody can do?
01:33My purpose can be a very good plan.
01:35They also bené in that for a long time.
