in the day with me as a machine operator working in the mines here in western australia
00:04
our mornings start extremely early as we wake up at half three and breakfast is at four o'clock
00:07
here is a quick sneak peek of what is on offer every morning this morning i opted for tea
00:12
some fruit and a croissant we then get the bus over to camp it takes about 15 minutes and look
00:16
at our sunrise that we have nearly every single morning how stunning is this we then have a
00:20
pre-start which lasts maybe about half an hour and then it's time to get going so this morning
00:24
i started off driving the water cart this is a new thing to me but i'm really really loving it
00:28
and your job with this is just to get water on the ground and like dust control so you're in and
00:31
out of the machine filling it up as much as you can i'm also getting some time on the water moxie
00:36
which is a lot bigger and it's an articulated dump truck as you can see here i can't tell which one
00:40
i like better i'm really loving just the opportunity to drive like multiple different things every day
00:44
this is what it looks like when you first come to australia and you see these big dump trucks you
00:47
think they're impossible to drive but they're really not i then had break time which is like a car bar
00:52
and some fruit i think and into the roller this is basically what i was hired for and it's a nice
00:56
sweet job but it can be a bit boring sometimes but anyways i'm not complaining so i did this for
01:01
a while and then it was time to get in for lunch how shocking is my wrap i destroyed it in the
01:06
toasty machine and after lunch i then spent another few hours in the roller and then we clock off then
01:11
about five o'clock so this was us finished we then got the bus back to camp we are so ready to get out
01:17
of here we are finishing our three weeks we then went straight away and had our dinner after work
01:21
sometimes we changed up and we have dinner later on my dinner looks pretty purr it was time to go back to our
01:26
rooms shower cello and do it all over again tomorrow
