KMT Proposes More Aid for Taiwan To Counter U.S. Tariffs

The opposition Kuomintang has suggested increasing the government's proposed US$2.7 billion aid package to at least US$6 billion to better mitigate impacts fro Trump's tariffs, an idea supported by the ruling Democratic Progressive Party.

00:37It comes as President Leitschinger's administration tries to pass the aid package in an opposition-led

00:42legislature.
