00:00story let's get to the masters now as we know uh this week uh a tradition unlike any other

00:06the green jacket all of it uh and everybody is now there they got practice rounds cooking and

00:12going including some of the golfers talking today let's hear from rory first because rory's kind of

00:17the guy right he's trying to complete for the last 10 years the career grand slam here at the

00:23masters he hasn't won a major in 10 years period and he's coming into this year with the best form

00:29of his career he's won twice already the players and at pebble beach feeling as good as ever here

00:36we go scotty you know you love when these guys say it ah you know what i'm just gonna treat this like

00:42any other tournament this week no uh it's just narratives it's just it's noise um and it's just

00:49trying to block out that noise as much as possible i need to treat this tournament like you know all

00:56the other tournaments that i play throughout the year and um yeah look i understand the the narrative

01:03and the noise and you know there's a lot of anticipation and build up and coming into this

01:07tournament each and every year but i just have to keep my head down and um focus on on my job

01:13yeah that that's bullshack bottom line is is that he knows full on he is trying to blow smoke

01:23because he's never won this thing he's never won any and he's nothing else to say he's never won it

01:30and all i hear about he's gonna win it every year he's gonna win it he never does he knows how enormous

01:37it would be for him to win this tournament and he knows how bad he won it kills him he can't go to

01:44that dinner tonight uh and have that champion's dinner he wants that champion's dinner he wants in

01:49that locker room it's legitimately the only thing he has not done in the game of golf he's won the

01:57other three majors he's won rider cups he's won players he's won he's won fedex cups more money than

02:04anybody this is the only thing he don't got is that jacket and that locker room and that dinner

02:11so that drives him not more than money that drives him nuts it 1000 drives him nuts so he can sit there

02:18and try to sell everybody that he's gonna treat this like any other tournament that's just not the

02:24case and there's nobody that psyched himself out more than that guy uh with everything that he's got

02:30going on so look i think it would be an incredible if he won i'm not but i'm not betting him uh this

02:37week to win that's for sure i'm not going to get involved but uh it would be some scene if he's

02:42involved uh late sunday afternoon even with the way he's playing this year you won't put a piece on him

02:47at all well look i for me it's price i don't i have a rule anybody under 10 to 1 i'm not betting

02:54so i can't bet a guy under 10 to 1 before when there's still 72 holes of golf left it's just not

02:59i i just can't do it he's six and a half or seven to one right now right i you know i just it's it's

03:05not for me now maybe he gets he's behind a little bit going into the weekend and we catch a better

03:11number live that's fine uh i can go and get involved with that but pre-tournament six to one

03:18seven to one that's not my cup of tea uh for guys like him or like scheffler uh here's xander

03:24schauffele you know this guy won two majors last year two uh and he's kind of flying under the radar

03:30here this week he's been hurt for a little bit this year hasn't won anything but he does have

03:35two major wins in the last calendar year he's ready for augusta you've talked about how people

03:40have underestimated you really your whole career having won two of the last three majors do you

03:46feel like you're coming into this week floating a little under the radar after the injury and do you

03:50like that i don't i mean i don't know if i've ever sat and talked about how i felt underestimated i'm not

03:56really you know it's sort of how people would talk about me when i was playing well but

04:01yeah it's it's kind of nice you know um like i said i haven't been in great form but the only

04:09thing that really matters is that i think i can win and my team thinks i can win and everyone else

04:13can just talk about you know whatever they talk about listen i said to you yesterday at that price

04:19what was it 20 to 1 20 he's 20 and that that price is very tough to pass up with what he's done the

04:27last year uh the last two of the last three majors tough to pass up yeah i like i like his uh chances

04:33that uh that's a that's something i can sink my teeth into and then i mean yeah just the leaderboard

04:40right there in terms of odds you know the other guy that he's never won there is dechambeau but man

04:45does he rip it like that guy's he's a big money player like he shows up for for for slams
