00:26CNBC reported that Trump's tariff announcement last week wiped out $2.5 trillion from the

00:31U.S. stock market, costing Tesla CEO Musk $30.9 billion in net worth.

00:36Musk, the world's richest person, is a key Trump adviser and heads the Department of

00:41Government Efficiency, which is working to cut government funding and reshape the federal

00:45bureaucracy.

00:47Meanwhile, Navarro accused Musk of prioritizing Tesla's profits over national policy, noting

00:53that the company's supply chain depends on countries such as China, Mexico, and Japan.

00:59A 10 percent baseline tariff on imports from around the world took effect last Saturday.

01:03However, several countries will be hit by higher duties from tomorrow, with levies of

01:0834 percent for Chinese goods and 20 percent for EU products.
