00:17Egan, a few days before Holy Week, the price of fish and vegetables in the markets has already increased, just like here in Pasig Mega Market.
00:30At 12 o'clock in the evening, the fish shop of Mina is already open. It's all good, especially the slightly bad sales due to the continuous increase of their prices in the markets.
00:41According to some fish shops in Pasig Mega Market, their prices of fish and vegetables in the past week have already increased from Php 20 to Php 30 per kilo.
00:50Bangus is now Php 200. Tilapia is now Php 140. Pampano is now Php 360 per kilo. Galunggong is now Php 240 per kilo. Alumahan is now Php 280.
01:06Those who sell fish and vegetables in the market say that their prices will increase in the coming days before Holy Week.
01:13It will increase a bit, even the sellers. The supply is low, that's why the prices are high. That's why it's hard.
01:21Before, there was Php 120 for bangus. Now, there's Php 160 for bangus. Now, it's all Php 200.
01:27Some seafoods, like shrimp, have also increased their prices. Now, it's Php 600. Each kilo of squid has decreased from Php 480 to Php 440.
01:38As for vegetables, some have increased their prices. Php 60 per kilo of chayote. Php 80 per kilo of carrots and potatoes. Php 100 per kilo of cabbage.
01:49Php 50 for squash. Php 140 for bell peppers. Php 120 for onions. Php 180 for garlic. Php 60 per kilo for tomatoes. Php 10 per kilo for okra, water spinach, and malunggay.
02:06Now, in the coming days before Holy Week, the prices of vegetables will increase because the sellers are low.
02:16It is expected that the prices will increase from Php 5 to Php 20 for each kilo of vegetables in the coming weeks.
02:27If the expected prices of some fish are Php 20 to Php 30, the prices of vegetables for now are only Php 5 to Php 10.
02:37But it is expected that it will reach Php 30 in the coming weeks.
