00:00Now, Mr. Speaker, I rise today to call out Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and their disastrous

00:10magnomics.

00:12Last week, Donald Trump and his cabinet of billionaires recklessly imposed the largest

00:18tariff tax hike in American history.

00:20Now, look at the markets just today.

00:23They are crashing.

00:25Taxes will now increase on all kinds of costs, goods for the American family, and people

00:31across this country.

00:32Working families can't afford to pay more for basic needs, for necessities.

00:38No one voted to pay for more expensive groceries, homes, cars, and household goods.

00:43But that's all Donald Trump has to offer.

00:47We know the supply chains and small businesses are also right now being thrown into chaos,

00:51and hardworking people are going to lose their jobs.

00:56Not only do we have this incredibly large tariff tax hike, we know that the stock market

01:01is in a free fall.

01:03Retirement accounts are being wiped out.

01:05We've lost trillions of dollars in the stock market in just a few weeks.

01:12Magnomics hurts working people and gives huge tax breaks and giveaways to billionaires,

01:18to Elon Musk, and all of their billionaire friends.

01:22And now Magnomics is about more than just causing a recession.

01:26Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and House Republicans are fighting to take away billions of dollars

01:33from Medicaid, which will threaten, we know, care for millions of people.

01:38That means higher health care costs, with many losing coverage completely.

01:41And Magnomics is slashing employees and programs from the federal government.

01:47It's about destroying the social safety net and the programs which we rely on.

01:52Medical research, the Department of Education, air safety, and so much more.

01:56They are attacking the foundations of our economy and the foundations of our lives and

02:01our families.

02:02Now Republicans in Congress need to join us and say enough is enough.

02:08End the chaos, end the incompetence, and put American families first.

02:13Stop and reject Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and let's reject Magnomics right now.
