The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, attended this year by President Dmitry Medvedev, brings together the world’s business and political elite to discuss key economic issues facing Russia and the world economy. It is the first St. Petersburg forum since the beginning of the world economic crisis, and this crisis is likely to overshadow its agenda. To review the forum discussions, our guest today is Sergey Chernyshev, the Director of the Department of Economic Co-operation with CIS Countries at the Russian Economic Development and Trade Ministry.
