South Korea's Constitutional Court has upheld the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol, saying his deployment of military soldiers and banning of political activities violated the constitution and rule of law.

00:07Yoon was impeached for a brief martial law declaration late last year that included the

00:20Korea has 60 days to hold a presidential election.
00:23Yoon is awaiting a separate criminal trial for inciting insurrection.
