00:00In the past, there were only tech scams, but now there are also calls for scams, and there are more of them.

00:06According to a global anti-scam application, scam calls increased by 74.32% in the first half of 2025 compared to the last quarter of 2024.

00:19That's more than 200%, which is higher than the first quarter of 2024.

00:25Tech scams decreased by 68.83% compared to the last quarter of 2024.

00:33According to the DICT, the implementation of the SIM Registration Act still needs to be tightened.

00:38They will also revise the Telcos system for the registration of SIM cards.

00:43If scams are found, it will be reported to the Hotline of the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Council.
