00:00Meanwhile, the 2nd batch of the Philippine contingent has just arrived in Myanmar

00:05to assist in the humanitarian and disaster response efforts following the strong earthquake there.

00:11Here are the details of the national news report of Gabriel Yegas of PTV Manila.

00:17Almost 3,000 people were killed in the magnitude 7.7 earthquake in Myanmar

00:22while more than 4,600 were injured and 370 were missing.

00:29The military government of Myanmar has already declared a week of lockdown.

00:33It is expected that the 2nd batch of the Philippine contingent will arrive in Myanmar

00:37to assist in the humanitarian and disaster response efforts there.

00:41It is composed of 47 personnel from the Philippine Air Force,

00:46Bureau of Fire Protection, Department of Health,

00:48Department of Environment and Natural Resources,

00:51Office of Civil Defense, and the C-130 that was sent to Naypyidaw.

00:55Meanwhile, last night in Mandalay, Myanmar,

00:58the Composite Assistance to Nationals Team was sent to find out the situation of the Filipinos there.

01:02According to our embassy in Myanmar,

01:04they are already communicating with the coordinator from the Filipino community

01:08and immediately headed to the site where the last four Filipinos were found missing.

01:12No confirmed Filipinos were rescued or retrieved from the site.

01:16It is estimated that 2,000 Filipinos are in Myanmar,

01:20but the exact number is not known

01:22due to the scam hubs where Filipinos are also victims of human trafficking.

01:26For those Filipinos who are missing in Myanmar,

01:29an alarm will be issued to the embassy

01:31through the number that you can call on your TV screen.

01:35Meanwhile, the Department of Foreign Affairs reported that

01:37the Filipinos were not affected by the huge fire

01:40in a gas pipeline in Putra Heights in Puchong, Malaysia.

01:44According to the DFA,

01:45they are still waiting for the official report from our embassy in Kuala Lumpur.

01:49The embassy also reminded our fellow Filipinos in Puchong

01:53to be careful and be vigilant.

01:54According to the latest report,

01:56more than 100 people were injured in the so-called incident.
