EP 29. SURAH AL-KAHF (18 ) THE CAVE

00:00This story is about the test of faith.

00:06Before Islam, there was a great empire of Rome,

00:11where people believed in many gods.

00:15But there were some young men who believed in one God with a pure heart.

00:21The Roman army attacked them,

00:24so they ran to the mountains to save their lives.

00:27Finally, they found a cave, so they took refuge in it.

00:32At that time, they made a special prayer to God.

00:50God gave them a special blessing, and they went into deep sleep.

00:55Their dog looked scary like a lion,

00:59which scared people and they went back.

01:03They slept for hundreds of years, but they didn't get old or change.

01:08When they woke up, one of them went to the city to buy food.

01:13He had old Roman coins, which were now finished.

01:18People recognized that he was a man of the old days.

01:22Now those people had believed in God,

01:25and those young men were considered heroes with true faith.

01:29They celebrated this miracle of God.

01:33We learn from this incident that if we have true faith in difficult times,

01:39then God makes special ways for us.

01:43This is a special prayer.
