On March 28th, 2024, Reform UK had 25,000 paid up members.
00:10
Tonight, we have gone through 220,000 paid up members.
00:21
We are now without doubt double the size of the Conservative Party
00:27
and catching the Labour Party up first.
00:30
And by the end of this year, I want us in membership terms
00:34
and much else to be the biggest party in this country.
00:39
That's clear.
00:41
When we win these county councils, we'll send in the auditors.
00:45
We'll get rid of the fraudulent contracts.
00:47
We'll cut spending.
00:49
We'll do our utmost to fulfil all of our promises.
00:54
And if we do those things, it will take us on to a general election
01:02
which will come in 2028 or 2029,
01:05
when we genuinely will try to make a piece of political history
01:09
the likes of which has never been seen before.
01:12
There are some who think that maybe I'm ridiculously ambitious,
01:16
but I believe we can do this.
01:22
Do you believe we can do this?
01:26
Will you support this campaign,
01:29
leaning up to May 1st to help us clear this first major hurdle?
01:34
Will you support our local candidates?
01:37
Will you go out and campaign, knock on doors, deliver leaflets?
01:42
Will you stand up if you believe what we're trying to do,
01:45
candidates particularly?
01:47
These are our candidates.
01:49
These are our people, all of you.
01:51
We can do this.
01:53
We are going to do this.
01:56
We are going to make history,
01:59
and each one of you is a part of it.
02:02
Thank you very much indeed.
