We have to focus on intensity if we want to build muscle, and we have to focus on taking

So we want to focus on an idea instead called reps in reserve.

So for every single one of your working sets in your workout, what I want you to think

about doing is coming within two reps of failure.

So that means that the final rep that you do is going to be slower than the earlier

reps that you did, and it's going to be hard and challenging, and you might have a little

bit of doubt whether you can actually complete the rep with good form.

Your form might actually start to break just a little bit.

That's where you should be taking your working sets, so focus on that.

Even if that winds up being after four to five to six reps, even if that winds up happening

and you don't feel the pump, as long as you're focused on that, you're going to be a lot
