00:03Cal almost had his team first year in the Elite Eight.

00:08And is it just, hey, they're college kids,

00:1018, 19, 20, 21 years old.

00:12They just couldn't hold on the biggest moments here.

00:1485-83 victory for Texas Tech, impressive.

00:17But the comeback, even more impressive, Joe.

00:20Well, I mean, you had mentioned it early.

00:22Texas Tech in the beginning,

00:24I mean, Darian Williams couldn't hit water

00:26if he fell out of a boat.

00:28I mean, he was one of 11 to start from the field.

00:31And, you know, the fact that he ended up with 20 points,

00:3415 of those in the second half in overtime,

00:37including the biggest threes of the game for them,

00:41the ones that tied it up in the bucket

00:42that put them ahead in overtime.

00:46They didn't have that in the first half.

00:48And it's a miracle that, unfortunately for Arkansas,

00:52the scoring dried up for long stretches in the second half.

00:57And that's what allowed, you know,

01:00Texas Tech to be able to get back into it.

01:02Once Texas Tech found its rhythm,

01:05there was panic in Arkansas.

01:07And you could see it last night, Donny.

01:09The minute that they started to come back

01:11and the minute the shots started to fall

01:13that weren't falling, all of a sudden,

01:15Arkansas started to pucker up a little bit,

01:18if you know what I mean.

01:19And that was pretty much the end all be all.

01:22Then all of a sudden, that giant lead by as many as,

01:24you know, what, 16, 17 at one point,

01:28gone in that second half.

01:30But that's, Texas Tech has been there

01:32and done that before this year.

01:34Arkansas, not so much.

01:36And it showed last night here.

01:38But what I see, nobody thought Arkansas was gonna be

01:41in this point with an opportunity to go to the Elite Eight.

01:44And even Calipari said so afterwards there,

01:46that it was, they could have, should have, would have,

01:49but ultimately when you look at it,

01:51probably a team that overperformed a little bit

01:54in Cal's first year at Arkansas.
