Let's Talk About Pleasure

00:18time I talk about pleasure, I'm being disgusting, that I'm actually ruining the way people think

00:24and I'm ruining our culture. In actual fact, this was decided by our ancients because they believed

00:31that pleasure was the path to heaven, that pleasure was divine. Pleasure can mean anything

00:38from reading a good book to listening to a good piece of music to holding somebody's hand to

00:44actually believing that your sexuality or your inner nerve endings deserve to come alive. It's

00:51A lot of the comments I get are aimed at my age. So I get people, you know, saying things like

01:02Even people saying, you know, think about your age. You shouldn't be talking about sex.

01:06I'm not talking about sex. I am talking about pleasure and I'm not talking about my pleasure.

01:13I'm talking about your pleasure because, you know, if it's about understanding that we have

01:19changed the way we think, then take it from an older person as a piece of wisdom. I'm not over

01:25here trying to say to you, oh my God, this is what I do and this is where I get my kicks. I'm talking

01:32about pleasure as something that is going to be amazing for you. It's going to be beneficial for

01:37you. And just like you would go to an older person to learn about, I don't know how to cook,

01:45maybe something that was cooked in the past or learn how to do a certain type of meditation that

01:50was done by your grandmother or even learn how to, I don't know, learn any kind of Vidya from

01:58the past. Think of this as a Vidya because it is. It was in the past used as a Vidya

02:04and it was taught as that. So yeah, don't worry about my age. Don't worry about the color of my

02:10hair. I'm not trying to tell you about my pleasure. I'm trying to explain to you that

02:16your pleasure is important. So take it as Vidya.
