Hrushi Karthik and Lekshmi were excited about their post-wedding photoshoot. But they had no idea the moral police would ambush them. The couple from Kerala spoke to Brut about the trolls and the abusive comments they received on their photos.

01:13Most of the trolls are like abusive trolls, and it was really heart breaking for us.

01:17Because there's been so much of rumors like that we are doing this for, we just did this

01:22photoshoot for our publicity, and it affected most of us a lot.

01:27The comments are like racism, body shaming, and somebody mentioned me as a thief.

01:34It's like shaming, insulting our parents, cultureless people, attention seeking perverts.

01:41And many of them wanted to know that am I wearing clothes that they don't know.

01:57Personally, we think there is no need for that. People will be people, let them be.

02:15Some comments are really funny and we really enjoyed it.

02:25The positive comments are like haters gonna hate, screw haters, live your life as you wish, happy couples, stay together.

02:33I think they play a major role in helping us to survive from this police.
