This Aussie professor is setting poetry goals in Hindi.

00:00Yes, Namaste. Today I am reading some poems by Sudama Pandey Dhumil.
00:10Dhumil ji, who is also referred to as the angry young man of Hindi poetry,
00:17and who four decades ago had asked the same question through poetry,
00:23that, is freedom just a name of three tired colours,
00:30which a wheel pushes, or does it have any special meaning,
00:37and moves ahead without any answer?
00:42Quietly.
00:44So, let's go. Let's listen to another poem by Dhumil ji, i.e. this angry young man.
00:51Roti aur Sansad. This is a very popular poem.
00:57Ek aadmi roti belta hai. Ek aadmi roti khaata hai.
01:04Ek teesra aadmi bhi hai, jo na roti belta hai, na roti khaata hai.
01:12Wo sirf roti se khelta hai.
01:17Mai pooshta hu, ye teesra aadmi kaun hai?
01:21Mere desh ki sansad, Mohan hai.
