Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Donald Trump Jr. were in India at the same time. But they had two different messages.

00:04One by population, the other by surface area.

00:07We should be doing better things together.

00:10Now the U.S. is the second largest democracy.

00:12We don't like being second too often.

00:14It's not a Trump thing, right?

00:15But in this case, we'll make an exception and say that's okay.

00:3135 years ago, I was 11, just a year older than Zab.

00:36And we were here on an official trip with my father.

00:40And I came down to see Agra and the Taj Mahal.

00:45And I didn't get to come with my dad because he was stuck working back in New Delhi.

00:49So for me to be able to be here on an official trip

00:52while bringing my kids with me to share this is really special.

01:01I've been coming here since my late 20s.

01:04I've spent over a decade creating relationships.

01:07It's not my first week in India.

01:10My late 20s, early 30s looking at deals.

01:12The first couple of times it was, you know, you speak to someone.

01:15You meet them in New York and they're saying,

01:16I have the greatest piece of land in the market and here's the maps.

01:18And it looks very credible.

01:20And then you get there.

01:21Well, it's not really my land.

01:22What?

01:23Well, it's my cousins, friends, brothers, uncles, maybe someone.

01:27But now that you're here, let's talk business.

01:29Let's talk business.

01:30And you're saying, oh.

01:35I have to say that Mahatma Gandhi is an inspiration

01:42and should be an inspiration to us all.

01:44The idea of extraordinary strength in compassion and peace and nonviolence.

01:58I might give a different answer somewhere else around the world,

02:01but maybe not either.

02:06I think there is something about the spirit of the Indian people

02:08that's unique here to other parts of the emerging world.

02:11I can, you know, you go through a town and you, you know,

02:14and I don't mean to be glib about it,

02:16but you can see the poorest of the poor.

02:19And there's a, there's still a smile on a face.

02:21You say hello.

02:22It's a different spirit that you don't see in other parts of the world

02:26that walk around so solemn.

02:27And I think there's something unique about that that doesn't exist elsewhere.
