00:00You know, my personal experience, you know, when I went to a technical college in India,
00:05my wife was, you know, there were 20 girls in a school of 400 people.
00:12You have to understand, in the context of a workplace, you know, the representation
00:30of women in tech is very, very low.
00:33Technology products affect everyone in the world.
00:36So the only way you're going to do it better is by involving more women in the development
00:41of technology.
00:42I think it's a moral imperative to do that.
00:44And so, clearly, we want to create an environment which is more supportive for women.
00:50And it's personal to me and, you know, my personal experience, you know, when I went
00:55to a technical college in India, my wife was, you know, there were 20 girls in a school
01:03of 400 people.
01:05And you know, I saw firsthand how hard it is to function in an environment like that.
01:10Over the past years, we started a conversation in tech by being transparent about, you know,
01:16the representation we have internally.
01:18We have to build on that momentum, and you have to make sure the environment when women
01:22come into workforce, especially on very technical jobs, is positive and supportive, and that's
01:29what we are working on.
01:30But there's a lot of work left to do.
