Bruce Lee's Long-Lost TV Project Comes To Life

Before he died, Bruce Lee wrote an action-filled screenplay. But it went unproduced for decades. Now his daughter has brought it back to life.

00:45My father created a treatment for TV and pitched it to Warner Brothers, but they said

00:51at the time that he couldn't star in a show because he was Chinese and the American audiences

00:56would not accept that."

00:57Okay, let's go.

01:27He had this dream and this goal of bringing the representation of a strong Chinese man,

01:42an authentic representation of that to the screen, which he did.

01:45And I think my father would be thrilled to know that he gets to have this fantastic Asian

01:52cast in this show that the conversations that he wanted to have, he's getting to have

01:58in this show.

01:59And I'm absolutely honored and privileged to be able to extend his legacy in that way.
