00:00It is told that in Ayurveda, you are not allowed to eat this, you are not allowed to eat that.

00:20People say that you are not allowed to have coffee, but let me tell you that Ayurveda

00:25definitely allows coffee, but that does not mean that you have a big cup of coffee every day.

00:30Now, there are certain antidotes which are always given in Ayurveda for certain foods.

00:35In case of coffee, it is the elaichi or the cardamom powder,

00:39because cardamom powder helps to nullify the acidic value of caffeine.

00:43So definitely you can enjoy your coffee, but put little cardamom powder in it.

00:47You can drink as much water as you require, but no, it's a big lie,

00:55because 70% of your body is made up of water, and if you drink lots of water,

01:01then you can easily put on weight, and this further weakens your digestion,

01:04and this leads to water retention and bloating.

01:07So you drink water only when you are thirsty, or in Ayurveda, there is a huge group,

01:14that is the Vata group, who don't feel like to drink water, because, and I'm sure many people

01:21who can just run the whole day in one or two glasses will agree to me,

01:24because you don't feel thirsty, and that is because you are a Vata Prakriti,

01:28but always look for the signs like dry mouth, dry hair, dry skin, or even constipation.

01:34If these are the signs, then please do drink water, at least six to eight glasses of water per day.

01:39If you are not allowed to eat non-veg on Ayurveda, but that is not the case,

01:46let me tell you, we definitely allow you, maybe once or twice a week,

01:50because it's a dead food, and dead food takes at least 19 hours to digest,

01:55and you can understand in those 19 hours, how much fermentation, how much rotting happens,

02:00and as a result of which you feel a lot of gas and bloating and acidity because of that.
