00:00Adivasi was never a Hindu, nor is he today.
00:30Adivasi was never a Hindu, nor is he today.
01:01Adivasi was never a Hindu, nor is he today.
01:05He is a naturalist.
01:08Our culture, our way of worship, everything is completely different from him.
01:15It is a customary system.
01:18And this is why we count in Adivasi.
01:21We count in indigenous people.
01:24In our country, there are different arrangements for Adivasis in the constitution.
01:31The 5th, 6th and 6th sections are already demarcated.
01:37There is a Tribal Welfare Ministry in the country.
01:41It also has ministers.
01:44There is a Tribal Council.
01:46It is also managed in the country.
01:51But today, the Tribals are not being accepted as a Tribal.
01:59This is a matter of great concern.
02:01At times, Adivasis were known as indigenous people.
02:06At times, they were known as animists.
02:08At times, they were known as Tribals.
02:10Many names were changed.
02:13And recently, they used to be counted in Adarsh.
02:18And now, they will not be able to go to Adarsh.
02:21Because the central government has decided to remove the Adarsh column in the constitution.
02:27And because of this, there is a lot of tension between the Tribals in our state.
02:34The ministry was made, the councils were made, the projects were made.
02:38Budgeting was done.
02:39But there has been no step taken by the government to give them identification.
02:46The demand has been sent to the central government to arrange a separate column for the Tribal people.
02:54So that they can preserve their traditional culture.
02:58Because they have a different heritage.
03:04They have a different identity.
03:06Today, the tribals see God in the trees of the jungles.
03:11In those jungles, the people of the country, the people of the outside world see wealth and money.
03:18And they are busy destroying those jungles.
03:21And today, the way the Adivasi Dalit, instead of moving forward,
03:30only a few people are able to fight.
03:34Because the system is so big, so tough,
03:38that we have to use these communities as our napkins and leave them.
03:49Sometimes I feel that if these people, if the STAC communities,
03:56which we see as a backward mentality in the country,
04:01so if this society moves forward,
04:04then who will be the driver in the house of the rich,
04:07who will do the work of their owner,
04:09who will be the cook in his house,
04:12who will be the doctor,
04:14this is also a matter of concern.
