00:07Tell me, like, kind of walk me through the process.

00:08I've been training for this my entire life.

00:10Right, yes, I've been waiting for this moment forever.

00:12It's my big debut.

00:13Yes.

00:14Um, yeah, I never planned on that, um, whatsoever.

00:17Mm-hmm.

00:18Like, I've never even really watched

00:19any reality dating shows to begin with.

00:21Mm-hmm.

00:22Um, my parents actually are fans of the show.

00:24Okay.

00:25And, like, a few months before I first even started

00:28talking to anybody, they, um, they're like,

00:30you gotta watch a little bit of this episode.

00:32Mm-hmm.

00:33You know, I think this show's really cool.

00:35And I sat down for, like, a few minutes,

00:37and I'm like, I would never do that.

00:39I literally said that.

00:40Um, a couple months later, I got a, you know,

00:42Instagram message.

00:43Next thing I know, I'm talking to producers,

00:45and now here I am.

00:46Yeah.

00:47Do you think your parents kind of slipped it into the,

00:49like, contact him.

00:50You know, I should ask him about that,

00:52because I never have, but it was awfully,

00:54awfully coincidental.

00:55Yeah, I got, it was the same process for me.

00:57My mom and sisters, who are massive fans of the show,

00:59and I've been in the family room before

01:01while they've been watching, like,

01:03John, you would be perfect for this show.

01:05Sure.

01:06Um, so they obviously went crazy and said,

01:08you have to do it, and whatever they say goes,

01:10so here I am.

01:11Here you are.

01:12So when they, you got the call that you were gonna

01:14be on the show, was there any hesitation whatsoever?

01:16Yeah.

01:17Yeah.

01:18Oh, yeah.

01:19I said no, like, yeah, 30 times.

01:20Did you really?

01:21Yeah, back and forth for a month.

01:23Okay.

01:24Yeah, and I would, like, you know,

01:27okay, she's not doing this, you know,

01:29and then it was just back and forth,

01:31and at the end of the day, it's like, you know,

01:33why not?

01:34Right.

01:35One time, it was a pretty cool experience,

01:37and my thing with this show is it's a lot more

01:39conservative than some of these other ones.

01:41Yeah.

01:42Like, my parents watch it, you know,

01:44and I've seen with him, and so, um,

01:46that was why I was good with doing it,

01:48because, like, it's not out to make anyone look bad

01:50or anything like that.

01:51No.

01:52And it really is genuine connections.

01:54No, definitely, and you don't get, like,

01:56Right.

01:57Like, it happened or not be.

01:58I mean, there's competition and things like that.

01:59Yeah.

02:00But it doesn't, like, trash on anybody.

02:04What kind of ultimately made you decide to do the show?

02:07I thought it was, like, a pretty fun opportunity.

02:09I mean, imagine, like, you actually find somebody,

02:12and you can go back and watch their whole love story

02:14just come to fruition right there on TV.

02:16Yeah.
