The sight of millions of tulips potentially in full bloom drew throngs of tourists to Srinagar’s Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden on Wednesday (March 26) as it opened its doors to the public for the first time this year.

00:27The beds of tulips, boasting bright colors in full bloom, have become a major tourist
00:32attraction, drawing around half a million tourists to the serene gardens last year.
00:43The garden, nestled on the foothills of Zabarawan mountain range, with a view of the iconic
00:48Dal Lake in India's Jammu and Kashmir region, is spread over an area of 30 hectares with
00:54rows of tulips as far as the eye can see.
