00:00Yesterday, the first batch of Filipinos who were victims of human trafficking arrived in Myanmar.

00:06According to the OFWs, they did not expect their work in Myanmar to be a scammer

00:12because they only heard about it on a social media site.

00:16According to the Department of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega,

00:20their problem now is the prolonged processing of the papers of other OFWs.

00:26Meanwhile, the Department of Migrant Workers, or DMW,

00:30and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, or OWA,

00:34will receive financial assistance from the repatriated OFWs.

00:38The DMW reminded that it should consult with the Technical Education and Skills Education Authority, or TESDA,

00:44so that illegal recruiters will not be victims.
