00:07That's an app that a lot of people use and somebody got on. I mean, I happen to know

00:11the guy's a total sleazebag. The Atlantic is a failed magazine. It does very, very poorly.

00:18Nobody gives a damn about it. This gives it a little bit of a shot. And I will tell you

00:24this, that they've made up more stories and they're just a failing magazine. The public

00:30understands that.

00:31But even war veterans, including one who voted for Trump, are condemning the government's

00:36attempts to minimise the situation.

00:38Yeah, I think that they're trying to downplay it. I think it is a big deal. If they correct

00:44it, that's fine. If they continue to use that app, then I think that's an abuse of power.

00:51It makes me mad at first. It makes me think they don't care about our security. That's

00:56not wise. I expect more of our people in that type of authority.

01:01Both veterans believe that those responsible should be given a second chance, while there

01:05are mixed reactions from locals. Two and a half hours after the story was reported, Donald

01:10Trump said that he wasn't aware of what had happened. And some wondered whether they were

01:14being taken for a ride by those caught up in the leak.

01:18I'd deny everything. You know, people aren't stupid today. I think it was Radcliffe that

01:23said, well, I just found out maybe this morning. I heard it yesterday morning. I'm sure he

01:28heard it too.

01:29I think it was a foo-pah and it was a mistake that somebody made. And I think the Dems are

01:36making a whole big deal out of it because that's all that they have.

01:41When asked about the possibility of an FBI investigation, Trump said it quote, isn't

01:46really an FBI thing, and that the messaging app was the best technology to be used in

01:51the moment.
