00:00Today, I think that it's the saddest day in Hong Kong history.

00:30The Chinese government can't wait and they can't really stand the freedom and the freedoms

00:46and the rights we have in Hong Kong.

00:49So they try to take away as quick as possible.

01:18I just want to say to the international community that this is the end of Hong Kong.

01:36This morning, the Chinese plenary has announced that it will pass a series of laws related

01:43to national security that are interpreted by the mainland Chinese standards.

01:49In particular, it includes the provision that people who even lobby or call for foreign

01:57governments or the international community to intervene or to help Hong Kong would also

02:06be liable for criminal prosecution and that it would be retrospectively applied to even

02:14before the law was in place.

02:18This is completely unimaginable in a modern justice system, but that's what it is.

02:36Hong Kongers are not scared.

02:45We take our fight on.

02:47We will fight onwards for our freedom and for human rights, but that doesn't mean that

02:52we will not take precautions to protect ourselves.

02:57Hong Kongers are still living under day-to-day oppression from the Hong Kong police, the

03:01Hong Kong government and the Chinese government.

03:04Our freedoms are diminished day by day and our rights are constantly breached by the

03:08authorities.

03:09If it happens, we'll address that issue very strongly.
