00:00I'm not telling you who to vote for.

00:01I'm not telling you what to be.

00:03I'm just telling you to read the room

00:07and ask yourself, do you feel good?

00:11Do you feel safe?

00:13Do you feel listened to?

00:15And if not, how the hell are we gonna get there?

00:18The first time I was old enough to vote,

00:20I voted for Obama.

00:22When I was in intermediate school, middle school,

00:26I watched the Twin Towers fall.

00:29I watched us go into war.

00:31This is the America that I know.

00:33Nothing has been peaceful since.

00:37I think it's important to realize

00:40that this newer generation,

00:41we are not from the generation of Republican or Democrat.

00:45We're not, we're just not.

00:48We didn't grow up with that rhetoric,

00:51that ideal, we grew up with right or wrong,

00:56good or bad.

00:57And it's almost toxic to grow up with that mentality

01:02and only have red or blue to choose from.

01:05So of course you're gonna superimpose good on one

01:08and bad on the other.

01:10But every time I speak,

01:11I am never speaking to a political party.

01:16I'm speaking to human beings.

01:18And even right now, I'm talking to a human being.

01:20It's been hard for me to even move forward in that way

01:24because all I wanna do is inspire people

01:27to register to vote and to vote and to know your power.

01:31I have no insinuation on who you wanna vote for

01:33and no insinuation of what party you wanna vote for.

01:36I'm just talking to you, the newly turned 18 year olds,

01:42the people who felt indecisive about voting,

01:45the people who didn't think their vote mattered,

01:47the people who believe they don't have power.

01:50Yes, to a degree we are powerless.

01:52And hell yes, to a degree it feels powerless.

01:56But God damn it, if these older generations

02:01believe in their power and take their ass to the polls

02:05and use that power, do it, no matter what, so should we.

02:12Because this country is still going

02:15whether we want it to or not.

02:17The way this country does politics, I mean,

02:19is still going whether we want it to or not.

02:22Whether we like the way they do politics or not.

02:25We can't sit out.

02:26I believe in togetherness and I haven't felt together

02:30not a single day ever.

02:32None of this shit is together.

02:34The fact that we go off of a two-party system

02:37ain't together at all.

02:41United we what?

02:44And divided we what?

02:49You gonna set us up for failure in the first place?

02:52Splitting us up?

02:53If you didn't watch the debates, fine.

02:56I get it.

02:57If you did watch the debates, are you okay?

03:01Regardless if you watched it or not,

03:03this election is happening with you or without you.

03:08And all I ask is for you to be present.
