00:00I did not start writing music because I was like,

00:03ooh, I'm going to write music so I can get famous.

00:06I wrote music because I had a lot on my mind

00:09and I didn't know how to say it, really.

00:30All I've ever wanted is to be on a stage

00:33and have people cheering for me.

00:36I always loved being on a stage.

01:01I was never like, you have to do this,

01:06so that gave me the opportunity to learn

01:08what I actually wanted to learn.

01:10So I'd see something and be like,

01:11I think that's really interesting

01:13and I want to learn more about that.

01:14My whole family has always just been insanely musical

01:18and always making music with me.

01:30When we started making music together, it was fantastic.

01:49I remember, I feel that our relationship

01:54professionally has gotten more and more healthy.

01:57When we were young, we used to bicker unprofessionally.

02:11I perform like I'm right in the pit

02:13and I try to make everyone who's in the audience,

02:15if they're not in the pit, feel like they are.

02:27I was in love with that man, Justin Bieber.

02:40I will tell you that.

02:41And that was not fake at all.

02:44I'm telling you, bro, that shit, we're not getting into that.

02:47I've done it before. I'm not doing that shit again.

02:51We made this album in a bedroom.

03:21At our house that we grew up in.

03:22And it was mastered in somebody's living room.

03:24So it's really like anything is possible.

03:27So we've relocated to the streets of Paris.

03:30See, the kids already know.

03:32Everywhere you go.

03:52The Grammy nominations went up at like 5 a.m.

03:54our time. My mom came in and she she told me the news

03:58with like the most like joyful sound in her voice.

04:00And we called my brother and I found out he was nominated,

04:03too, which just like made my heart sore.

04:51Silence is not an option and we cannot sit this one out.

04:56We all have to vote like our lives and the world depend on it because they do.

05:12How do you process it?

05:13You know what I mean?

05:14Like it's there are no classes for this lately.

05:17It's been every single day.

05:18I'm just like, damn, like this is my life in a good way, you know?

05:23And that's that's new and that's like beautiful.

05:26And I'm I'm happy, man.
