Google image searching for "idiot" gives you a very presidential result.

00:26How would that happen?

00:27We take the keyword and match it against webpages and rank them based on over 200 signals.

00:35Things like relevance, freshness, popularity, how other people are using it.

00:42And based on that, at any given time, we try to rank and find the best results for that

00:47query.

00:48And then we evaluate them with external raters to make sure that, and they evaluate it to

00:54objective guidelines.

00:56And that's how we make sure the process is working.

00:58So it's not some little man sitting behind the curtain figuring out what we're going

01:03to show the user.

01:05It's basically a compilation of what users are generating.

01:09This is working at scale.

01:11And we don't manually intervene on any particular search result.
