The New York Times reported that President Trump's tax transcripts show that he accumulated over $1 billion in business losses over the course of a decade. But Trump — according to himself — is an excellent businessman.

00:38I filed my papers with the federal elections.

00:41Everyone said, well, maybe he's not as rich as we think.

00:44So maybe he'll never file.

00:45But I filed.

00:46I do hundreds of deals.

00:48The deals come out of my ears.

00:49And they're good deals.

00:50Most of them are phenomenal deals.

01:03I did great.

01:04You go to the Wharton School of Finance,

01:06you go through it easily.

01:07You do fantastically well.

01:09I think one of the most important aspects of the book

01:10is I try and define people that don't have it.

01:13Because most people don't have it.

01:14And that's the sad part.

01:15And they want to have it.

01:16And they go out and they lose their money.

01:18They lose their families.

01:19They lose everything.

01:20And it's a sad situation.

01:22But you see it a lot with these hucksters

01:23that are on television selling deal books.

01:25I went to an Ivy League college.

01:27I went to the Wharton School of Finance,

01:28which is the best business school in the world.

01:30I'm like a smart person.

01:31And everyone said, oh, he'll never file

01:32because maybe he's not as rich as we thought.

01:34And it turned out I'm much richer

01:35than anybody ever thought.

01:37And the company's great.

01:37Very little debt.

01:38Tremendous cash flow.

01:39You know, I've always taken in money.

01:40I like money.

01:41I'm very greedy.

01:43I'm a greedy person.

01:44I shouldn't tell you that.

01:45I've always been greedy.

01:46I love money, right?

01:47I take in a lot.

01:47I made a lot of money.
