World leaders respond to pandemic

One of these world leaders is not like the other... Here's how President Trump's coronavirus response contrasts with other key political figures.

00:00We are only at the beginning of this epidemic.

00:04We have anticipated, we are prepared.

00:07You know, this came as a surprise to all of us.

00:09It just happened, it shows what can happen in life.

00:11A high percentage, experts say 60 to 70% of the population

00:16will be infected as long as this state remains.

00:20The vast majority of Americans, the risk is very, very low.

00:3425 billion, aware of the difficulties that the country is facing for this emergency.

00:42Hopefully we're not going to have to spend so much

00:44because we really think we've done a great job in keeping it down to a minimum.

00:47We're preparing various actions to slow the spread of this disease.

00:53You know, in theory, when it gets a little warmer, it miraculously goes away.

00:57I hope that's true.

00:58We now have one goal together this year,

01:01to protect the health, the well-being and livelihoods of Australians

01:07through this global crisis.

01:09Some people will have this at a very light level

01:12and won't even go to a doctor or a hospital and they'll get better.

01:15There are many people like that.

01:17This is not the division that will allow us to respond to what is today a global crisis.

01:22When you compare what we've done to other areas of the world, it's pretty incredible.
