Praying to stop hurricanes

If prayer can't stop hurricanes, it's not for lack of trying. ️

00:00Hurricane Florence, we speak to you in the name of Jesus,

00:04and we command this storm to cease its forward motion and go harmlessly into the Atlantic.

00:18I'm going to ask you right now, put your hand out toward the Atlantic, wherever it is,

00:24and let's speak a word right now in the name of Jesus.

00:28We will speak to that storm, command it to disorganize, command it to dissipate,

00:34command it to get out there and stand in faith.

00:39We declare in the name of the Lord that you shall go no farther, you shall do no damage in this area.

00:46And what I want us to do is I want us to lift our hands, and I just want us to first of all

00:51begin to declare that Christ has all the power. He is the one that can rebuke it,

00:56he can muzzle it, he can push it back out into the ocean.

01:13We declare a shield of protection all over Tidewater,

01:18and we declare a shield of protection over those innocent people in the path of this hurricane.

01:24Never forget this, Matthew came, we were praying and praying and praying,

01:28and guess what Matthew did? Matthew turned out.

01:32You remember this? Matthew turned out into the ocean, headed out into the ocean.

01:37You know, I'm a Christian voice, Pat Robertson's a Christian voice.

01:41Pat sees things, he sees in the Spirit, and he prophesies, and they don't like it.

01:50He's told hurricanes and all to go back out to sea, and they turn around and go out.

01:57And the press makes fun. The weather folks come on and said,

02:02hey Matthew, everything's good, Matthew has turned out to the ocean.

02:05You know what we did? We stopped praying.

02:09You know what Matthew did? Reversed and came right back in.

02:14Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.

02:24And we will live to mark this day and say, I remember I was there,

02:30and when we saw that Hurricane Florence averted.
