Microplastics are in the food you eat, and the water you drink – you might even be ingesting a vitamin tablet's worth of plastic every few weeks.  To cut down on our microplastics, Blueland has come up with a line of cleaning products with no single-use plastic.

00:08But it doesn't have to be this way.

00:14The definition of microplastics is any particles less than five millimeters in size.

00:20It's in the water that we drink, the air that we breathe, in seafood that we eat, it's in salt, it's in beer, and

00:28recent research shows that we're probably consuming about four micrograms of

00:33microplastics per week. That's equivalent of eating a vitamin capsule of microplastics every six or so weeks.
