Meet Fanny, a fashion stylist who grew up in Paris. She shows us what it's like to live and work in the French capital.

00:00There are a lot of parks in Paris, but I don't know why I especially like this one.

00:16Hi, I'm Fanny, I'm 24, and I'm a fashion stylist born and raised in the capital of France.

00:21Hi, bonjour, this is Entrée des Artistes, and welcome to my apartment in Paris.

00:34I live in a one-bedroom apartment, and this is the perfect amount of space for me.

00:41I moved out of my parents' home when I was 22, not far from France's average age, which

00:46is almost 24.

00:48In Paris, a one-bedroom apartment is often between $1,500 to $3,000 per month.

00:53So this is my little safe space.

00:56I am very happy to have created this little cocoon for myself.

01:02So now I'm going to get ready for the day.

01:08I share a lot of fashion content on TikTok, which is a way for me to enjoy expressing

01:12my creativity freely.

01:26Today, I'll show you the Paris I know and love.

01:35I'm actually in the process of getting my driver's license, but honestly, I don't feel

01:39like I need it in the city anyways.

01:42Public transportation here is really good.

01:44It's pretty quick and reliable, and it connects you to almost every corner of the city.

01:52If you're a student in Paris, a public transport subscription costs around 300 to 400 euros

01:57per year.

01:58And for non-students, it's around 800 to 900 euros, which seems high to me compared to

02:03other cities in Europe.

02:06Paris is a very walkable city, so I don't mind walking for 20 or 30 minutes.

02:11Paris is one of the most visited cities in the world.

02:15There's always a lot of tourists here.

02:19Maybe I'll live and work in the U.S. or Asia for a bit, but Paris is special, and I feel

02:25very lucky to call it home.

02:44Being surrounded by art and culture daily really changed how I saw the city.
