00:00My name's Andrew Crotty. I was here four years ago, apparently, sitting in the same hole

00:07that they basically closed half the road off before, I think last year, to fix this problem

00:14where the water's coming from. But as you can see, there's still water coming from that

00:19hole, regardless that the other holes are dry. But instead of now just having one hole,

00:24there's now one, two, three holes now. And it's not a sink hole, it's more of a sink

00:31trench. Now, I know that Councillor Ian Holledge has been keeping us up to date with all the

00:37actions, but obviously it's gone a bit quieter because of the devolution system Labour's

00:43put in place. But I'm hoping now, again, as Labour's made that comment from yesterday

00:48about where the money's going and they're filling the potholes, we will hopefully get

00:51some sort of information of what's been spent, where it's been spent and what's on. Because

00:57it doesn't look like from this road, Buckhurst Road, is a problem. I had dealt with a resident

01:02down the bottom of Buckhurst Road because both her property was having massive cracks

01:07in it from the lorries going across it. Now that's been fixed, that was fixed overnight

01:15type thing a couple of months ago, now we need this top bit to be either redone properly

01:21or resurfaced. Now they were checking to see about the water, I'm not too sure what

01:26they've come up back out of, but even now with the new road format, it's sinking again.

01:33So it needs to have some urgent work done to it and very, very soon. The main danger

01:40is that obviously they've built two great big blocks of flats near to it for the water

01:45usage. There's a very, there's a high pressure gas main that's underneath this, so it's

01:51very delicate anyway, but with all the traffic going through, how bad is it going to affect

01:58the gas main? They can't just keep on looking at it, putting a bit of tarmac down and then

02:04leave it again and I'll be back here for another four years.
