00:17Thank you so much for being here. We appreciate you guys. It's so good to have some local artists

00:22here at West of the Fest. I honestly cannot tell you the last time we had a local artist.

00:26Is that right? Wow. Well, then we're extra honored.

00:28Multiple years. Super special. This is super exciting. So normally I would ask you, like,

00:33how are you enjoying Austin? What do you think of this? But I'm so glad I don't have to ask you

00:38that. So I'm going to ask you, what recommendations would you guys have for people coming to Austin

00:43this week for the festival, like food wise, bar wise? Do you guys have like favorites in town?

00:49Well, brand new place in town. Two Hands. Oh, yeah. That's great. On South Congress.

00:54Coffee and food. Very, very good. And it's near all the South by stuff. So, you know,

01:00yeah, two hands is good. Looties. Looties. Have you been there?

01:04Rooties? Looties. Oh, I was like, Rooties I have there too. No, I don't think so. If you're on a

01:10budget, Looties. Yeah, I'm going to say no, no shade. No, no. Favorite bars in town? Hotel Vegas.

01:20Hotel Vegas. So good. Such a great spot. You guys just played there, right? We did last

01:24weekend. Yeah. OK. Talk about that experience. Talk about playing live here in Austin. Talk

01:28about the crowds you see when you guys perform. Sure. You know, Austin is the live music capital

01:31of the world for a reason. It's got the best fans, the best, you know, listeners in town that just

01:37love supporting local, especially. So Hotel Vegas is kind of the I think one of the best spots in

01:42town to go see what's up and coming and check out, you know, your new favorite band. So, yeah.

01:47Speaking of live music, I've been asking everybody who's been on the couch today,

01:50your first concert, your last concert and your best concert. Can you remember those three?

01:56Luckily, there's two of us, so we can kind of. Yeah, I'm going to say we have

01:59dueling answers. First concert. First concert for me. And this is embarrassing,

02:03but it might have been like the Backstreet Boys. Nothing embarrassing about that at all. I mean,

02:06yeah, I should own it proudly. Actually, it was pretty. It was pretty awesome. Yeah. Yeah.

02:10Yeah. Oh, first concert. It was like the Rolling Stones. Luckily,

02:14you know, Joe P who played earlier, his first concert was Rolling Stones. OK,

02:18that's a little bit cooler. You know, I guarantee we had a very different

02:25Rolling Stones experience, though, because I saw them in like eighty nine or something. OK,

02:29yeah, I think. Yeah, I think he saw it like one of the like early 2000 shows. I think I

02:33could be a whippersnapper. Right. You know, last concert you guys saw.

02:38We saw our friend Macy Todd yesterday. She's a local artist and she blows us away. I mean,

02:45she's just amazing. Her voice, songwriting. So that's a that's a local shout out. But

02:49yeah. Awesome. Do you remember your last say one? I'm guessing that's a great show. I would

02:54stick with Macy Todd. All right. Now here's the tough one. Best concert you've ever seen

02:59ever. Yes. Like you're like, this is the one. I know this is always the one that stumps people

03:04initially. I know that it's probably not fully accurate, but I know it stands out in my mind

03:14was Bonnie Raitt at the Ryman. Yeah, that's real. That was really incredible, mainly just

03:19because she was just exuding such kindness and just amazing energy. And obviously she's Bonnie

03:25Raitt. Yeah, I say like, I can't make you love me. I'm sure like a pin would drop. Exactly. Yeah.

03:29Yeah. That's what popped into my mind. So I'll go with that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's good.

03:36Two thousand two. Two thousand two. Oh, that's early for them to fill more in San Francisco.

03:45Yeah, we saw them in ACL. Was it two years ago? Yeah, we were there the same year. We

03:49were excited to have our. Yeah, that's right. Yeah. We're so happy to have your name on West
