00:12President Donald Trump told the media at the Oval Office on Friday that those involved

00:16in targeting Tesla car owners and the company's owner Elon Musk will be caught and prosecuted.

00:23He's going through a lot, what they're doing to him.

00:27And these people are going to be caught and they're going to be prosecuted.

00:32And from what they tell me, I see this just by watching your programs and reading the

00:38news.

00:39But from what they tell me, they could get 20 years in jail and they'll get it.

00:42I'll tell you, there's going to be no leniency and there'll be no pardons.

00:44Well, I view these people as terrorists just like others.

00:49When I looked at those showrooms burning and those cars, not one or two, like seven, eight,

00:5510, burning, exploding all over the place.

01:21An arson happened at a Tesla sales center in Las Vegas on March 18th, leaving at least

01:27five vehicles damaged with at least two engulfed in flames.

01:32The local police said a suspect used Molotov cocktails and a firearm to carry out the attack.

01:39On Thursday, Attorney General Pam Bondi said three people were charged over the destruction

01:44of Tesla properties across the country.

01:47She said a man allegedly torched a dealership in Salem, Oregon, while another from Loveland,

01:53Colorado attempted to set vehicles on fire.

01:56And a third suspect wrote profane messages against the president and torched charging

02:00stations in Charleston, South Carolina.

02:04Protests against Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency that he is heading spread

02:08to the SpaceX headquarters in Los Angeles on March 19th.

02:12Demonstrators claimed that Musk was cutting federal safety net programs, which the White

02:17House has denied.
