00:02And I'm your Community Manager, Zoe.

00:04Welcome to the first Dev Dive of 2025.

00:082024 was a big year for us.

00:10We had many amazing opportunities,

00:12but there were also things we could have done better.

00:15I think this year will be very busy too,

00:18especially since we are working hard on the Jungle DLC,

00:21which we announced last December.

00:23But today, we're here to talk about something else.

00:26As you may have seen already,

00:27we have another DLC coming before In the Jungle,

00:30which is Ichiban's Holiday,

00:32a collaboration with none other than the Laika Dragon series.

00:35So, let's dive right in.

00:57So, you're probably wondering, how did this collab happen?

01:09Well, actually, I'm a huge fan of the Laika Dragon franchise.

01:13And I took a lot of inspiration from it when creating Dave the Diver.

01:17I've always wanted to bring Laika Dragon characters to the Bluehole,

01:20and I had a chance to connect with the Director,

01:23Yokoyama-san, last year at Tokyo Game Show.

01:26He really liked our idea, and that's how we came to collaborate.

01:29I took some photos when I visited the SEGA office.

01:32Here's a studio where the Laika Dragon team does their live streams,

01:36and the dragon on the wall looks super cool.

01:38And this is a bento box we had for lunch at the office.

01:42We had also brought a bento box themed merch set as a gift,

01:45which was a pretty funny situation, giving each other bento boxes.

01:50Oh, and these are some of my prize possessions.

01:56This is a book containing the Korean translation

01:59of the first Laika Dragon game on PlayStation 2.

02:02At that time, there didn't have a Korean localization available,

02:05so they provided a translated script book for it.

02:09So, I got it signed.

02:12And here's a copy of Laika Dragon 8.

02:15There's a spin-off now, but it was a ladies title at that time.

02:20I also got this signed here.

02:22It feels like I fulfilled all my fanboy dreams.

02:26Ichiban's Holiday is the name of the DLC.

02:30Fan-favorite character Kasuga Ichiban and the bartender of his favorite spot,

02:34Survive Bar, visit the Blue Hole in search of a nice vacation.

02:38But some things never change.

02:40Trouble seems to find Kasuga, even on vacation.

02:43When Kasuga finds out that Sea Blue was capturing dolphins,

02:47he decides to infiltrate their base.

02:50This is dangerous for one man alone, so Cobra decides to accompany him.

02:55Here you can select either Kasuga or Cobra,

02:58and it feels like playing a classic arcade game.

03:01Which is super cool.

03:02Is co-op available for this part?

03:05Unfortunately, co-op isn't available.

03:07You have to switch between controlling both characters.

03:11Oh, I almost forgot to mention,

03:14there's a surprise at the end of the stage,

03:16so keep an eye out for that too.

03:19And there's more.

03:20You gotta have a good karaoke session with Laika Dragon,

03:23and some unique characters from the series will be coming to the Blue Hole

03:27as new Bancho Sushi staff.

03:29So basically, I just put everything I like about Laika Dragon into this collaboration.

03:34Ichiban's Holiday will be our very first paid crossover DLC.

03:38And you know, this might be a little disappointing,

03:42but since this is a special collaboration with a big game,

03:46the DLC will be available for a limited time of six months on all our platforms,

03:51starting from the release date, April 10th.

03:53We hope you understand.

03:55We do our best to make the content worthwhile,

03:58and we look forward to many of you enjoying it.

04:02Next, we have to talk about merch.

04:05These items here were sold at Animate, Japan's biggest merchandise shop.

04:09We have sold plushies before,

04:11but I really like seeing various merch like this.

04:14The quality is really nice,

04:15and many of us on the team purchase items for ourselves as well.

04:19So let's take a closer look at each of the items.

04:22Starting off with some ceramic tableware,

04:24which I personally really like.

04:26There's a Bancho Sushi teacup,

04:30and we have two mini plates with different prints on them,

04:32including Dave's face.

04:34I think this is an item gamers would appreciate.

04:37It's a desk mat that has plenty of room for mouse movement.

04:41And if there's someone who'd like to display your favorite character,

04:45we got an acryl memo stand of Dave, Bancho, and Korra.

04:49There's a little clip on the back so you can put notes in it like this.

04:55And I know you're wondering about Jeho's super cool t-shirt.

04:58It has the Bancho Sushi logo on it,

05:00and it's also part of this merch collection.

05:03And we have a lot more items that we didn't show today,

05:06so please look forward to them.

05:07This merch collection was originally only available in Japan,

05:11but they will also be available in Korea from March 29th,

05:15and in the United States and Canada from April 19th.

05:22Currently in Minx Rocket, we are busy developing the Jungle DLC,

05:26as well as the Lyco Dragon DLC.
