00:06mods for GTA 5, maybe some sick cars, a graphics overhaul, or even a chaos mod,

00:12but now your game's crashing, lagging, or just straight up refusing to start.

00:17Don't worry, I've got you covered. In today's video, I'm walking you through the top fixes

00:21to get GTA 5 running like a dream after modding. Stick around, hit that like button if this helps,

00:27and let's dive in. First things first, before we fix anything, please tell me you backed up your

00:33GTA 5 files before modding. If you didn't, pause this video, go make a copy of your game folder

00:39right now. Trust me, it's a lifesaver if something goes wrong. Modding can get messy, and having that

00:45clean backup means you can always start fresh. Alright, got that? Cool, let's move on.

00:57Open your Google Chrome and type GTA 5 Mods Heap Adjuster. Download the heap adjuster.

01:06To download another file, gain kovig of legacy and enhanced as showing in the video.

01:11Now download packfile limit adjuster. All download links you get in description.

01:16Now cut all the three files and paste them in a new folder.

01:21Now extract the all three files one by one using

01:24WinRAR Hour 7 Zip software. Now open OpenIV. Make sure edit mod is on. Let's start.

01:34Now paste the heap adjuster extracted file. To your gta5.exe folder is showing in video.

01:41Same for packfile limit adjuster. Paste this to GTA 5.exe folder.

01:45Now open the OpenIV. Edit mod is on. And navigate to

01:54mods backslash update backslash update dot rpf backslash common backslash data.

02:00Here we get a file name. Gameconfig.xml. Now back to gameconfig folder.

02:05Here we find latest gta config 34.51.0.34. And old version.

02:11Open the folder gta config v32 for v1.0.3095. Or the folder with your game patch version.

02:19This is my game version. Open the folder for more mods.

02:24Open the folder stock traffic. Means gta base. Find gameconfig.xml.

02:32Drag this gameconfig.xml file to data as shown in video.

02:36Using OpenIV. Navigate to mods backslash update backslash update dot rpf backslash common backslash data.

02:44Right click the file gameconfig.xml and click and edit. Edit mode must be enabled.

02:49Press ctrl plus f and type cloth to search for the cloth store setting.

02:54Edit the pool size value from 60 to 600. Click and save and close OpenIV.

02:59This set the cloth physics.

03:00In addition to increase the number of pads we can add to the game, we can try removing some game big DLC packs that adds pads.

03:11Open the OpenIV.Edit mod is on.

03:16To do this right click the file to list.xml that is located in mods backslash update backslash update dot rpf backslash common backslash data.

03:25Click and edit and then find the line with mpist4. And remove it.

03:35We can do the same with other official game big DLCs that adds pads like mp tuner, mp security, mp sim2, mp sim2 underscore g9eck.

03:46Remove these DLC one by one and save the clas.xml file.

03:49Removing DLC from the clas.xml will increase max number of added pads.

03:59And that's it, fam. Your GTA 5 should be back in action, modded to perfection.
