00:27of Imam Kharaj-e-Tahseen.

00:29We are presenting a tribute to him.

00:31He is such a compassionate and loving personality.

00:34If you look at him as a father,

00:37he is still very compassionate and loving.

00:39He raised his children very well.

00:41If you look at him as a grandfather,

00:43he is such a great person who is playing with his children

00:45and also raising them.

00:47If you look at him as a teacher,

00:49not just hundreds of his students,

00:51but thousands of his students

00:53recite to him the same tazkirahs

00:55that you can imagine how compassionate and loving he is.

00:58The gathering is taking place,

01:00and during the gathering,

01:02Hazrat Islah is instructing them

01:04not to read it like this, but like that.

01:06And we can also say with complete certainty

01:09that when he reached the last part of his life,

01:13even then, he raised his students.

01:16I am referring to Hazrat Sahibzada Sayyid Manzoor-ul-Quran,

01:19Shah Sahib, may Allah have mercy on him.

01:21He was such a great personality in the field of Naat,

01:24that he gave such a style to Naat Khawani,

01:27which was not in the style of Murawwij before him.

01:30Azam Chishti Sahib, may Allah have mercy on him,

01:32was obviously a great poet,

01:34and he was coming from Radio India.

01:36But the style that was adopted by

01:38Hazrat Sahibzada Sayyid Manzoor-ul-Quran,

01:40Shah Sahib, was liked so much

01:42by the people of Khawas,

01:44that it became a standard.

01:46Now, when it became a standard,

01:48then whatever comes below that standard,

01:50there is a lack of it.

01:52But in the case of Shah Sahib,

01:54his selection of words,

01:56his performance, his style,

01:58and then his style with Huzoori Qalb,

02:03that is very great.

02:05So, Hazrat Sahibzada Manzoor-ul-Quran,

02:07Shah Sahib was born on 15th January 1944 in Gujarat.

02:11He opened his eyes to a religious and scholarly family,

02:14and he got a high religious status

02:16and intellectual heritage from his family.

02:19Since he was born in his maternal home,

02:22his initial name was Khalid Mohiuddin.

02:26He belonged to the Saadat family,

02:28and I will tell you where he was born.

02:31But when Sayyid Nizamuddin Raghib Barakpuri,

02:34may Allah have mercy on him,

02:36took him in his lap,

02:38he asked for his name.

02:40He was told that his name is Khalid Mohiuddin.

02:43So, as per the Huruf-e-Tahajji,

02:46the name should start with the letter M.

02:50Hence, his name was named Manzoor-ul-Quran.

02:54When Shah Sahib stepped into the field of Naad,

02:57the most famous name at that time was

03:00Muhammad Azam Chishti, may Allah have mercy on him.

03:03Shah Sahib listened to him a lot,

03:05and he liked him a lot.

03:07He was also very influential.

03:09When he started writing,

03:11he followed Azam Chishti, may Allah have mercy on him.

03:15After that, he established such an identity,

03:18whose inscriptions we still see today,

03:21and will continue to see till the end of the world.

03:23Even today, we see countless compositions of Naad.

03:26Our own Marhaba Ya Mustafa,

03:28we are amazed that

03:29what styles Shah Sahib read,

03:32what great words he read,

03:35and in what beautiful style,

03:37whether it is Arabic, Persian, Punjabi, Urdu,

03:40how many languages did he read,

03:42which is still considered a standard.

03:44Alhamdulillah, we are fortunate that

03:46from the UK, from the United Kingdom,

03:48his own sons,

03:49those who read in his style,

03:51and those who carry on his legacy,

03:55Syed Salman Khan Shah Sahib is present.

04:51He has hundreds of students.

04:53I have never seen a teacher

04:56sitting on the stage and praying for his student.

05:00But I have seen my father.

05:02Whenever you used to sit,

05:04you used to pray.

05:06I have seen him sitting on his prayer mat

05:09and praying for his students.

05:12I have seen him in front of me.

05:14He did not just recite Naat.

05:17The most important thing is that

05:19he recited Naat along with his students

05:22and his followers.

05:23He also played a role.

05:25He also introduced me to Maqam-e-Mustafa.

05:29Because of this,

05:31all of his compositions

05:33and all of his compositions

05:35are considered to be authentic.

05:37I am very fortunate

05:39that I am the son of Syed Munzul Qunain.

05:43Shahsaab,

05:45the manner in which he spoke about Naat

05:48and the manner in which it should be presented

05:51in the presence of the Prophet,

05:53you have given it a lot of thought.

05:55There are a lot of things about Shahsaab

05:57that are in our minds.

05:58He was a very ideal Sanakha.

05:59May Allah send down His mercy on his grave.

06:04after his death on 19 July 2016.
