Father,
O' my dearest father!
Look at me,
I ‘m your sweet little daughter,
Unborn.

Hold my soft little hands,
Look at my dove little eyes,
Touch my rose little cheeks,
Catch my cute jerky legs,
Listen to my first innocent wail,

Do I seem terrible!

Father,
O' my dearest father!
Take me in your arms,
I ‘m your sweet little daughter,
Unborn.

Sway me in the air,
Hold me on your lap,
Put me on your back,
Look me crawl,
Behold me babble,

Am I so horrible!

Father,
O' my dearest father!
Hug me to your chest,
I ‘m your sweet little daughter,
Unborn,

Lend me your hand to hold
Pick me from my fall.

Am I not lovable!

Show me the light
Allow me to be born
Allow me to live
Allow me to dream
Allow me to fly.
