Well, what a game that was. Llangefni and Pobmarag and Dutraith. The three down, Chris.
00:07
And Sennau got it back and won by four goals to three. Exciting times.
00:11
Yeah, that's one way to put it. Just didn't start the game at all well, to put it mildly.
00:17
Obviously, 3-0 down. Individual errors, all three goals as well.
00:20
They didn't particularly break us down or anything. We gifted the goals.
00:23
So, difficult to take, but the character that they showed, I thought after the first 15-20 minutes,
00:28
we took over the half, slowly got into the game and then we got a goal just before our time.
00:33
That was vital. And I've got to say, the turnout here today, I think it was over 300.
00:37
We felt the support as the half went on, especially when we got that goal.
00:40
They got behind us and then it was all us. Second half, obviously, great turnaround.
00:44
Tom Ildish does what he does and gets us the win.
00:47
We've had games where nobody scored. Today they scored three and two defensive errors to give them the goals.
00:54
Are you disappointed in that?
00:56
Yeah, of course. The structure of us, it didn't look right. First 15-20 minutes.
01:01
It's something I've got to go and have a look at on the video and assess it,
01:04
because we looked a little bit all over the place at the start.
01:06
When it went to 3-0, we actually changed to be a little bit more defensive,
01:10
even though we were 3-0 down, but it gave us that control in the game.
01:13
I'd say after that third goal winning, they were only dangerous on the counter-attack
01:18
and we controlled the game, eventually getting our goals.
01:20
Like I say, with the support of everyone in here today, we went on and got the victory.
01:23
In Llangefni, the same happened. We were 3-0 up, but this time they were 3-0 up
01:27
and it did show how well Bob Arup worked to get the goals back and some great goals as well.
01:32
We're always talking about character. Obviously, there was a lot of shouting and swearing
01:36
and other things at half-time about what we needed to do, but I can't have any complaints
01:40
because the character of the boys was brilliant in the second half.
01:42
They upped the level in terms of performance, because like I said to them,
01:46
I can live with the individual errors that happen in football,
01:48
but the actual performance of the team in the first 20 minutes wasn't good enough.
01:53
As the half went on, we controlled the game, creating chances
01:56
and when you do that for the forward players you've got, you're always going to get goals.
01:59
Three points, great, and we move on. Diolch yn fawr, Chris.
02:03
Cheers.
